haha. friday was a lovely and fun day. firstly went to watch Slumdog Millionaire again with Alwin,Deon and Wen tat! (: that show with 8 oscars and 4 golden globes is something that can even be watched 3 times man. desirable slow. laughing at anil kapoor and all was done. haha. then after that met up with Chin Long and Brendan. to start the mega cycling.
People who attended were: Esvaran, Alvin Kang, Soo Ee Rong, Chin Long, Deon Teo, Brendan Tan
Haha. Firstly started off by renting the $10 bikes from the Skates Company shop. Then we started off cycling to East Coast Lagoon Food Centre. There just ate desirable. Brendan Tan was rather fast! (: kk bren reaading this right. just stating GOOD things all. HAHA. After that, we cycled on and on and on. This is the route we took in mega detail.
East Coast Lagoon Food Court Still Road Proceeding to Nicoll Highway. Due to an error of the sign put up by LTA, we turned into Stadium Blvd/Road as it stated nicoll highway. In the end it wasn't. Then followed through a long route along the singapore river. Then at one point had to bring bike up stairs all. mega. after that had one of the longest up slopes ever man. Its not steep, but its tedious. haha. Then the down slope was so desirable. From there we went down to Nicoll Highway. Raffles Place, then to Clarke Quay. Where we stopped at 7-11 for some drinks. Then went down to chinatown, then by cantonment road and then to keppel road. Keppel road was straight all the way with extremely bad humps and bumps and soon we were at Vivocity by 1am.
Me and Chinlong went to plan the extremely ambitious route to Changi Village, not knowing the map in the computer is mega scaled. So we took a mega rest at vivocity, then continued down towards Keppel Road to Robinson Road. We missed it and went to anson road, from which we entered Marina Bay Road. which was the casino resort construction works. soon we were stuck there. feelings to give up there and then was high. but we perservered and continued and turned BACK. we turned back to Raffles Place. Continued to Collyer Quay, then took to long Niccol Highway to Mountbatten Road, then Katong, then Marine Parade Road. From there we decided to follow the green line. So we took Still Road to Eunos MRT there. Sped all the way to bedok MRT. Bedok MRT i realised route was really a millions more and millions of up slope. So that was just cancelled looking at bren sleeping status already! So we turned into Bedok South Ave 1, then Marine Parade Road, then Marine Parade Cres, and there we were back at the Cycling Shop at 500am.
Desirable feeling though. Night cycling was desirable this time. Just that ambition failed :( hahaha.
Brendan has major improvement , but could be better (:
Overall everyone in the cycling group tried their best and didn't complain and perservered all the way to the end. That is the prosti spirit (: More night cyclings will be happening soon (:
